Karl Marx was a philosopher, political economist, activist and revolutionist. He is called as the father of communism. After his death, his ideas became popular and formed the basis for worker's movement.

I think he was important because he wrote a lot of theoretical things
which are use full to mankind from generations onward,and some of his
philosophical findings are still applicable in the society till
date.finally he is one of the world's greatest economists.
