What Is The Way Of Advancement Other Than Information Technology?

I think the way of advancement other than information technology is the biotechnology and progress in other sciences like physics and chemistry. Just take the example of genetic engineering in biotechnology. With the increase in the world population, food requirements have also increased therefore, it is very necessary to make more innovations in making this technology common and coming up with healthy food production. Another way is to make advances through space technology like exploring the ways through which life can be made possible on other planets. More advancements should be made in medical sciences.

I believe that Information Technology is an invention and Universe is very huge and more advancements can be made through discovering new aspects about Universe. I hope you may agree with me :)
