When Was The Egyptian Pyramid Built?

The iconic pyramids at Giza have become a symbol that represents Egypt to people all over the world.
In reality, there are many different sites with pyramids in Egypt, built during the reins of different kings.
The first recorded building, was believed to be during the third dynasty, when the first Pyramids were built.
There were other pyramids built, some are around the Nile Delta south of the city of Cairo.
There is a royal pyramid at Abydos,which historians believe was built by Ahmose, who was part of the 18th dynasty, they also believe, this may have been the last one built as a royal pyramid
