My Pugs Nipples Maybe A Bit Larger And There Are Like Lumps Like Swelling Possibly. Could My Pug, Asia, Be Preggers?

My pug which is approx. 8 months old went into her first heat and quit bleeding about a month ago. During which my husbands friends' dog, (a pitbull) quite possible got had time to mate while we weren't looking. Her, my pug, nipples are like swollen and like lumps under them. Iceienice,
It is possible your dog is pregnant-abdominal enlargement and nipple development can be signs of pregnancy often when dogs are farther along than your pug.  In a pregnant dog uterine enlargement can be palpated (felt)
at 25-30 days.  X-rays will show uterine
enlargement sometime between 21 and 42 days.
The bones calcify at around day 45 and fetal skeletons can be seen on
x-rays after this point.  Ultrasound can
confirm pregnancy at around 26 days.
Pregnancy last 64-66 days in the dog, so if your dog is pregnant you
should see puppies just over 2 months after breeding.  X-rays and ultrasound are the definitive ways to diagnose pregnancy.  A visit to your veterinarian will confirm pregnancy.Ann Falk, DVM

I don't know much about this.  But is the dog getting fatter.  Also, if her nipples are getting bigger she probably will start expressing some milk if shes pregnant.  You can sometimes feel the puppies the further along the dog gets.  For more info.  call your local vet.  Make sure she is eating well.  Good luck.
