Where Was The Recent Interesting Piece Of News About Oriental White Storks?

Answer Question

Oriental White storks that face a peril of extinction most recently hatched a chick in Japan.  It was a good sign as this meant the continuity of their species.  Nevertheless the most interesting part of this phenomenon was the fact that this chick was the first hatched in a period as long as four decades amounting to forty years, almost half a century.  It was a marvel of nature, a positive omen that would serve to preserve this particular species. Although oriental white storks had become extinct in Japan since the year 1971, Japanese conservationists had tried to enable the breeding of these storks to encumber the extinction of this species with the help of Russia who donated Japan several pairs of these migrant birds.  Nevertheless despite of this endeavour, there were no positive results in the case of the continuity of the white storks species since the year 1964.  According to an official of the breeding park for endangered birds, Masayoshi Iida where the hatching of the chick took place, there were three more eggs in the nest as well, which was further good news.
