How Long Do The Creditors Have To Come To Collect Their Stuff After Filing For A Bankruptcy?

Answers
If there is a lien on the property, such as a vehicle or a home, it can be up until the lien expires or is discharged. Most states have a 7 year lien from the original date of a lien vehicle title. Because a mortgage note is usually recorded, it is good until they record a mortgage discharge through the county it was originally recorded in.
