Aquamarine is basically a gemstone, which is basically transparent and is found in delicate blue or turquoise colour. It also gives a tint of seawater colour to it. It is also considered to be very much related to gem emerald. Aquamarine is a beryl which comprises of a hexagonal crystal arrangement and a chemical formula of Be3Al2Si6O18, a beryllium aluminium silicate mineral. Aquamarine characteristically is on the short end of the precise gravity series, usually at less than 2.7. It is mostly found in the deposits of Sri Lanka and also in the United States at the peak of Mt Antero in the Sawatch Range in Central Colorado. It is also found in Brazil at various mines in the states of Minas Gerais, EspĂrito Santo and Bahia.
