Some stupid boy at my school started a rumor about me and has made me lose a lot of my friends over that and this started in seventh grade and I am in ninth and people are still talking about it and it really hurts. How can I deal with this?

What kind of rumor was that, I could help you better If I knew that. I
would advise that instead of letting your friends away, you must ask
them for the what is told to them and sort out the matter. Also
complain about that person to the principal of school. And, how about
trying to be friend with that rumor spreading person, If possible, this
will help you to get rid of trouble from root.

Well i think rumors are funny i usually laugh at them. Because 95 out
of 100 are always fake because people who make these rumors according
to an event, are normally insecure and judgmental people. So don't be
afraid of them they can never be your true friends or the one who left
you will never become one. The people who spend time with you, know whole about you and are always there for you in the time of need are your true friends. You should value them not rumors. Remember rumors are always about those people who are very famous, have many friends, of whom people are jealous and have lot of friends. So cheer up you are a famous person and laugh at rumors because they are not real.

I think the best thing to do it try to show that it doesn't affect you - that way the people talking about will realize that is has no impact on you and move onto someone else.

Rumors upto one extent are ok, but they should not exceed the limit. I jovially spread a rumor about my friend being married loll. But he didn't get hurt
