I was looking up on the web for your answer and I did get a general idea of when it was built.  The only conflicting was the person who actually formed the idea of having it built.  But back in 1879 the Seatoun tunnel was developed by James Coutss Crawford,  after several attempts of reconstructuring and disputes by the taxpayers and land owners at the time it was officially opened at 1906-1907.  But between the years of 1879 and 1907 it was opened and closed for repairs and upkeep because of horrid storms and the landslides.  I hope that this answer your question, because I went to several websites and had to piece a lot of information together.

If this is for your homework, wasn't it covered in class?  Unless it is extra credit and you are supposed to look it up on your own, I don't think you are doing your job.  Obviously you have computer access, you need to be looking this stuff up yourself.  If you don't learn how to find out things by doing the research, you're dooming yourself to not get very far.  Also, I just read your "comment" above in response to vivacia63.  Nowhere in it did I see a Thank You.  The question you ask in that comment was answered in her first answer to you.  And what's with the "And hey, don't blame me..."  You need to be accountable for your actions, or in this case in actions.  Sorry to be so gruff, but better coming from me than people in your real world - and believe me that is something you are going to be hearing a lot of if you don't shape up.  School is your JOB; do it.

Hey. Thanks for your answer, but we don't actually cover this stuff at school. It's kinda just asked. My homework each week, we get this quiz called Current Events, where we have to answer questions. Mostly it's about history, and I don't know anything about it. I tried all this research, but by the time the week was over and my homework was due, I only had Vivacia63's answer, so I had to use it. And it turns out he/she was right. So I have to leave a comment there and say thanks, also send a friend request, but I appreciate your answer. Thank you.
