I Need Help With My Small And Outdated Kitchen. Any Ideas?

The walls are cedar (not too dark), the floor wood laminate and the cabinets are retro metal painted white. The kitchen is small and a working kitchen only (no eating area). Since I am a renter, I don't want to spend a lot of money and thought painting the cabinets the best bet. I'm not afraid of color, just don't want to over-do it. Any advice?

There is a lot you can do to make your kitchen look better. Since your kitchen is small, paint it with a light color so that it gives a wide, airy feel. You can choose colors like light green, yellow, light blue or any other lighter shade of your choice. You can also use a combination of colors on the cabinets with borders of a dark shade and a lighter shade inside. You can make your kitchen more beautiful by adding a few indoor green plants. If you think they are difficult to keep, use plastic ones instead. This would not cost you anything and will make your kitchen look better.

Thanks for the advice, although I don't think paiting the walls is an option. THe white metal cabinets are horrible and adding color will help. Now I just need to pick one!

    Thanks
