Go to your bios , select CD ROM as your first booting device. Insert the cd of windows xp and follow the instruction. It will format your desired partition. If you want to format all of your partition, then go to command prompt >> then write "format c:" enter >>> format each of your partition separately.

Fix the HDD in cabinet
right click my computer --> manage -->Disk management--> wright click on New HDD detected --> click new partition --> in that you will get format option....
