I have never heard of oil being used in Baptism. I know that some denominations sprinkle with water.
Oil is usually used in healing services and as a point of contact. Some people anoint their doorways and others areas of their homes with oil,as led by the Holy Spirit.

Anointing with Oil at Baptism is commonly done. The Oil represents emblem of the Holy Spirit so when the minister pours oil on your forehead, or head the seal of the Holy Spirit is being placed upon you for a special work for Christ. Many ordination services the Bishop or Elders use Oil to Baptise some one to the five fold ministry.
