    The original name of Michael Ventris was Michael George Francis Ventris. He was an English architect. But Michael was known and would be always remembered as the most famous cryptographer of all time.

    He was born on 12th July of 1922 at wheat Hampstead in Hertfordshire in England. From the very early of his childhood, he was an interested one in the subject of cryptography. When Michael was only fourteen years old, he heard a speech on the counting mystery of Linear B script. Michael was so dedicated and intelligent that he had decoded the mystery of the Liner script in his fourteen years of age.

    Michael George Ventris later recognized that the Linear B was originated from Greek and he proved that it was the oldest form of Greek. It was in use during 14th thousand to 12th thousand B.C. Later Michael George cooperated with each other as co-writer with John Chadwick (1920-1998). They wrote together on 'Documents in Mycenaean Greek' which was published in the year of 1956. Michael George Francis Ventris was died on 6th of September in the year of 1956 by an auto accident which occurred near Hatfield in Hertfordshire. He was died just a few weeks before the 'Documents in Mycenaean Greek' was released or published out.
