In researching qualifications for admission to Veterinary Schools, it seems high grades in all of the Compulsory Subjects is needed to reach your goal. Among the uncommon subjects, a Latin course would help since Latin terms are used in the study of medicine. It would be a good idea to talk with a local Veterinarian he/she can advise you.
The requirements, which are necessary today, may be different by the time, you are ready to apply for Veterianary School, but here are some of them: 2 Sciences including Biology and Chemistry A levels are the recommended sciences. GCSE Maths, English, Physics or Dual Science, which includes physics. Your GCSE grade must C or above, the higher the grades, year to year, the better your chances. Some require the UK CAT a Clinical Aptitude test.
Three single awards in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics or a double award, which includes Chemistry.

im only 14 and i have wanted to be a vet since i was 6 and i have had dreams of operating on animals and i thought i would never make a vet because of my school record and my behavior and then i got into a fight and i thought about it and spoke to my mum about my future and i am positive about being a vet and so i have to choose my options in about 3 weeks and so i looked on Internet about veterinary and i found this site an i think it is very helpful and now i have decided what i am taking for my GCSEs and now hopefully i will be a vet and operate on animals because this site has rally helped me and so whoever made this advice is rally smart and helpful so thank you very much
i have learnt that if you want to do something you have got to get your head down and work hard instead of messing about and fighting and aging and going on msn and things because that will never help you be what you want to be if you want to do something dont mess about because it is your future online because i am definitely sure i dont want to work in mcdonalds or on the dole because that's what life is about its about achieving things and having fun while achieving. i have learned that if you put your mind to whatever you want to do you can do anything
thank you

To the Dude's Reading,
i never wanted to be a vet this much till now. Everyone used to tell me i have got somthing special with animals, for instant a vicious dog owned by my neigbour got loose and bit like all the people it could and then it got to me, and let me stroke it and take it back home. And lots more. I am not the type of guy who looks interested in pets as i love heavy metal music but i am.
You have mad me a lot calmer and i thank you a LOT!!!
