The BBC footage, which has surfaced on the internet recently, and was broadcast originally on September 11th, 2001, as the events were unfolding, shows a BBC journalist announcing that building 7 in the World Trade Centre complex has just collapsed; yet the camera shows the building in the background, clearly still standing. The timestamp shown on the film is approximately 20 minutes before building 7 actually did collapse.
The notion that building 7 was brought down by planted demolition charges has long been a favourite theme of the September 11th conspiracy theorists. They seize on the BBC footage as evidence of this, claiming that the BBC, with strong ties to the British government, must have been "in on it" and therefore knew that the building was going to collapse before it actually did. The most popular 9/11 conspiracy theory is that the Bush administration engineered the attacks on its own as a way of gaining a pretext to pursue a belligerent agenda abroad; the idea of Bush's strong ally Blair playing along with the plan fits easily into the conspiratorial mindset.
It is not clear whether the footage is authentic or has been altered in some way. Mysteriously, the BBC has claimed that is has lost all of the original tapes of its 9/11 coverage and therefore cannot confirm or deny the authenticity of the footage circulating on the internet.

shows that the tape is authentic and isn't fake, nor has it been altered. If that was the case the BBC would not even report on it, or, if they did, they would say it was faked. Richard Porter's defence simply raises more questions then answers them, makes the BBC look bad and also proves that the tape is real (rather then just claiming it was fake which most people would do to deny)

That's easy because what hit the pentagon wasn't a plane but it was a missile (as you can see from the marks a plane can't leave a 5-7 meter hole and then disappear it seems to me that the government wanted the people in panic mode so they can invade and do their bidding.
