    There's white flakes on my cats back but no fleas , what type of soap do i use?

    If it's little specs like powder or flour, it's most likely dander. That's a special saliva from the cats mouth when they are grooming themselves. When it dries, that's what it looks like. Put a towel in the bottom of the sink so your cat has something to hold onto and just rinse him off with warm water and TOWEL DRY him.
