How Far Is It From Spokane, WA To The Grand Canyon In Road Miles?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    North rim?  South rim?

South rim is generally considered the more spectacular viewing point.  Also the side from which you would access most of the tourist amenities (paths down in to the canyon, for instance).

Approaching North rim is harder to get close to the spectacular bits without some hiking, because of the lack of paved roads.  Still beautiful, and all the more peaceful for not being as developed.

There are a lot of different routes that you could take, but via Salt Lake is quickest and most likely.  Spokane to South Rim of Grand Canyon via Salt Lake is 1242 miles.  Cut off 40 or more miles, depending on exactly where you go, if you are going to the North Rim.
