Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The constellation of Cassiopeia supposedly represents the queen, wife of king Cepheus from the mythological Phoenician realm of Ethiopia who was considered to be arrogant but extremely beautiful. The constellation was originally charted by Ptolemy, the 1st century Greek Astronomer and was one of the 48 known constellations around that time. It forms a W, or a crown when connected with five of it's brightest stars.
