How This Wedding Favor Tradition Is Followed In Different Cultures?

Wedding favor tradition started from a community and has been adapted by almost all the countries worldwide. As there are so many diverse cultures in the world, this tradition has also been molded in various forms but the idea is the same all-around.When this tradition was originated in Europe, beautiful and fancy crystal boxes (known as bonbonniere) containing the sugar cubes were given as wedding favors. But as this custom spread among other cultures, it varied its form.

In Asian countries almonds are always preferred as wedding favors. These almonds, some candies and chocolates are beautifully packed in a silver foil or an elegant fabric bag. But gradually people started to coat these almonds in sugar. This practice became very popular at that time but now this idea has transformed into Jordan almonds.

In this modern age, there are unlimited choices for wedding favors.For instance, in Italy, a special 'Favor cake' is given as a wedding favor which is really a different type of a favor.
There are different common favors today like; different shaped candles , beautiful picture frames , foil wrapped chocolates , silver spoons , heart shaped candies, silver plated bottle openers etc.The idea of these gifts may also vary depending upon the season, latest trends and fashions imagination of couple and wedding theme etc.
