    Oswald is the short form to Baron St Oswald, of Nostell in the County of York. It is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. This was created in the year 1885for the well known Rowland Winn, who was industrialist and Conservative politician. He was the former Member of Parliament for North Lincolnshire. The house of Barron was given over to the National Trust in 1953, but it still the house of the Barons St Oswald.
