Stress certainly can take years off your life as well as causing many other problems for the body. This is because the hormones which are caused by stress can often make a person ill, and in certain circumstances that can shorten your life span. However, you do not just have to be ill already before stress can have a negative effect on your lifespan, a job which has permanent stress can dramatically shorten the lifespan.
Other problems stress can cause include skin conditions such as Eczema, weight problems, and also sleep problems. Long periods of stress can cause severe disruption to your everyday life. Taking part in activities such as yoga, and doing regular exercise can really help to reduce stress levels.
Alternative therapies such as Aromatherapy can also really help to reduce stress and aromatherapy oils are renowned for their stress relieving properties. Either way, if you are constantly stressed you really do need to find something which will help you to relax as much as possible.
