How Can I Feel Better About This?
My..friends..exclude me. (They're very nice etc, but they have exciting times together & I'm..left out.) I have AS-I've apologized for my social difficulties SEVERAL times-They say its ok but I'm still left out. I feel like I'm missing out lots! It hurts!

Why don't you take the initiative to find something to do together and invite them to your area of comfort, and see what happens then. If you take them out of their element, and place them in yours, then all of you might have a better understanding of one another. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

Thanks, you are nice. But I've tried this & it doesn't work, they're really not interested. (They did enjoy this one time I took them out, but that was over 2 years ago.) Since then, I've done it a few times, but I get the feeling they only come to humour me. I tried hard, but it's not working..Maybe it's b/c friendship can't be forced. But I still feel soo left out..I wouldn't exactly call them friends anyway, comrades is more like it, but they're all I've got. Usually I only see them in school, & when I hear them talking about all the exciting stuff they do, it feels like compared to them, my life is just boring. (& they probably do consider me boring.)Recently I found out that one of them blocked me on MSN.This hurt as well b/c I had instructed her to TELL me if I was annoying her, & then I would have left her alone. Idk at all. But thanks for answering!
You really don't need to be around people who are going to exclude you from everything, It could be that you just need to find people who are like you, and you can learn from one another. Have you thought about seeing someone for social anxiety? It really does help to have someone to talk to about it. Please think about this.
