Can You Calculate The Simple Interest On A Loan Of $18,500 At 11% Interest For 18 Month.?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    Formula for simple interest is
    A = P(1+in)

    Here
    P = 18500
    i = .11/12
    = 0.00917
    n = 8

    Now putting the values in the formula you will get
    A = 18500(1+0.00917(8))
    = 18500 (1 + 0.07336)
    = 18500(1.07336)
    = 19857.16

    Interest = 19857.16 - 18500
    = 1357.16 >>>answer
