    I Have A 6 Week Old Kitten, With An Occasional Sneeze Is This Normal?

    Everything is normal, sleeping, playing eating, no discharge from eyes or nose. Is this normal?

    This is perfectly normal, all kittens and animals sneeze just like humans do. I've had 6 cats and they all have sneezed occasionally and no discharged came out from their eyes or nose. Also, if your kitten does have discharge then that's bad because it means your kitten has infections caused by viruses or bacteria, and then may have nasal discharge and sneezing. If you're really worried then take her to the vet!

      This also can be a symptom of herpes virus.
      We have a domestic longhair male whose mother was a barn cat. I rescued Bubba when she died and the litter was just three weeks old. In beauty, he rivals any Persian cat I've ever seen. At about one month of age, until maturity, he sneezed. Our veterinarian diagnosed feline herpes, and said most barn cats are born with it!
