    It should be safe as long as you have been careful to not comingle your personal assets with those of the business. If your you are convicted of fraud then all bets are off - they can (and usually do) go after your personal assets.

      I don't think retirement income can be touched absent some sort of illegal activity. Unless you committed fraud the retirement account should be ok.

      But If I were you, I would find an attorney in Nevada and form an LLC to put the retirement account in.

      Have the attorney open the account in his name, there are ways of doing it so no one but you knows the account number, then you have attorney client privilege to help you keep the account hidden from prying eyes.
