Who Was The First American Female Poet?

It is said that Anne Bradstreet was the first American Female poet. Since females were looked upon as not writing poetry at that time she wrote for her gather and husband. Her brother-in-law had her works printed in London in 1650 and was titled The Tenth Muse Lately Sprung Up in American. In actuality it was the first volume of American poetry ever published.Several Poems (1678) , a revised second edition was published after her death.
