I'm Thin And Very Tall,so What Can I Do Starting From Today To Gain Weight And Confidence?

Answer Question

First of all, lots of people would love to be thin and very tall, so I hope your height and thinness aren't the reasons for your lack of confidence! (providing you are not underweight for any medical reason: if weight loss has been sudden or very great, you should see a doctor.)

Assuming your health is fine, please start by looking in the mirror and standing up straight. NEVER be ashamed of your height or try to "act small." Not only is it very bad for your posture, it just draws attention to your height. So be proud of your height, and enjoy the fact that you can wear bold patterned clothes and large jewellery, which may not suit smaller women (I'm guessing you are a woman or girl.)

As for weight, if you are eating regular and varied meals you may be at your best weight already. In any case, better not eat lots of cakes, chips etc - you might put on some weight, but you will get other health problems. Pasta, potatoes and other carbohydrates are substantial foods, and you can safely eat an egg each day if you want. Also, do get lots of exercise - tall thin people sometimes get back problems, so you need to keep strong and flexible.

I am tall and only weighed 8 stone not long ago. I've put just over a stone on in the last few months and that's not with eating a lot. I used to miss breakfast and some times miss my tea. The first thing I did was try to have some breakfast even if it was only a slice of toast. I did that for a few weeks then I gradually started having a little tea. After a few weeks or so I'm into the routine of having both. It's not what you eat, it's how you eat and when. Just think of it this way - you will have the pleasure of going out and buying all those new clothes. That was the best part of it for me.

You must take a diet which carries at least 2,000 calories and if you are heavy working or laborious working than take diet more than 2,500 calories.I know some people don't like eating vegetables, thus if you are one of those try this:

take 3 to 6 banana daily and drink half a litre of milk - it will surely help you to increase weight but not mass.
The best way of increasing confidence is to try to talk as many people as you can.It will not only improve your confidence but also make you know how a social image is made.
