    I Have A Landlord Who Is Considered To Me To Be A Slumlord. He Doesn't Like To Do Things. Can I Make Him Pay The Bills?

    I have had my home broken into due to him not replacing the locks and lying that he did. I did a police report nothing ever was done. I now had 50gals of water from faulty water heater flood the rental house. Can I make his insurance company pay for my loss and damaged property. I don't have renters insurance. He takes for ever to fix things and I have had to have fans from a serv-pro company in my house using up power I am responsible for. My power and water bill are high.

    You seem to be surrounded with so many problems. You can't make your landlord to pay the bills unless it is written in your lease agreement. You can't claim for insurance unless you have renters insurance. Read your lease agreement and renter & landlord law of your state to clear your concepts.
