How Do You Import Files From Microsoft Works?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There are different ways with which you can import Microsoft Works files and the procedure depends upon the application and also the version for which the Works files are being created. The applications include Word processing file, spreadsheet and database.

When you are importing Microsoft works database, you are required to follow the below described procedures. What you can do is to open the database with the use of Microsoft works and then go to the File menu and click on the save as option. When you are in the Save File As Type Box option you should select dbase IV and after that just click on OK. The next step includes the importing of dBase IV .dbf file that is being created already and your job is done; you have imported database.

I can give you the address of a website where you can find all the information about the procedure. The address is following: www.ability.com/support/works2ab98.php.
