How To Install Crown Molding?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

You can cut it the difficult way, by mitering the corners at a 45 degree angle, but keep in mind that not all walls are perfectly square, which can cause you some headaches.
There is a simpler way. It looks nice and adds a little class to your crown molding.
Home Depot store carries inside and outside cornices. All you have to do is nail them in place with a couple of finishing nails, then butt the crown molding right up against them. No need to miter.
