Two People Suicidal Because Of Me. What Should I Do?

First, I give the correspondent the benefit of the doubt, that the account is a fact.  We are talking damage control, buddy.  Second, take stock: If i understand correctly, at least one week has passed since the original sin and the ex-girlfriend is still alive, so instant self-destruction sounds like b.s.  If it really hits the fan, you are going to need 3 hots and a cot so give top priority to kissing up to your family so you gots a place to stay.  I also note with interest you have not been arrested yet - in that case, maybe with help from family or trusted friend, make a clean break with any and all failed relationships before you get into any more deep doo.   I realize that an agreeable SO is not so easy to find, but you need to concentrate on the basics and get a life first, worry about romance second. K?

People do not become suicidal because of others actions. They are suicidal because of depression. I would talk to them and see if they would go to a counselor with you to discuss these issues. If you still feel it is your fault call the suicide hotline they can direct you to the best sources. Also, threats are rarely carried through and this could be their way of making you depressed, which seems to be the most likely reasoning behind their threats. Don't take their threats as totally unlikely as i said contact the suicide hotline the number is in the front of your phone book and discuss the matter with them. They will be able to guide you further, please remember their threats are not your fault

Don't blame it yourself. They are just being silly. If they say they are going to do all this and all that, just ignore them. After all it is their decision if they are going to do something silly like that. Please don't blame yourself, blame them for not handling it a bit better.

First over all its not your fault that they are suicidal everyone makes there own choices.
But i understand if you might feel responsible, i think that you should stick close to these people and try to calm them down let them know there are brighter days. Make sure to  keep a close eye on them and offer nothing but encouraging words.

Support is one of the most powerful weapons you can use on a person who is depressed suicidal or just down on life and luck. I speak from experience from having a suicidal friend and help her through it.

You can't think that it is your fault because it's not! That will only make YOU a more depressed person then you wanna be...this is what they're choosing to do and the only thing you should be doing is helping them as much as you can...and not blame yourself about what's going on....everything has a reason and a purpose...you just have to believe that.

Please tell your parents, your ex-girlfriend's parents, and your school's student counselor about this. Suicide is very important to deal with, but do NOT do it on your own!

You should have them talk to some one about it
