Are Pit Bulls Good Pets?

Pit Bulls can be great pets but they are a responsibilty and should be trained in obedience.I believe you should research the breed before getting one in oder to find if the temperment is what your looking for ....Any dog can be a great pet its the owner that is usually the problem.....Pit Bulls are loyal pets ,high energy and need to be well socialized.... I have 4 pits and they are great like everyone else said you have to be on top of them. If you are a pushover then this dog is not right for you. You need to give them lots of love and please socialize them. They Don't need to be beat to train them you can train them with treats toys and also with attention. Make sure they know you are the alpha male or female. Mine has a understanding that I am boss ad not you. They love to have jobs to do cause they also like to please you. A good job for them is walking with you or carrying things in a saddle bag when we walk. He carries water and treats in a bag that I strap on his back He loves it. Just be good to them and they will be good to you.

Yes, when having insurance, you must be a good pet trainer, and when you have children a dog will get used to them, but after a certain time when having a trainer who beats there dog or doesn't feed them, dogs get vicious by the way there handled, a lot of dog trainer abuse them, and when they go through so much abuse, they can attack the owner or any body else for that matter.
