Yes. That is what System Restore is for. If you, for any reason, cannot get to Windows after installing a program or update or bad driver. The correct procedure is to shut the computer down, restart it and constantly press F8 until the Advanced Boot Options menu displays. Choose Safe Mode. When Windows comes up in Safe Mode, click on the Start button and type in System Restore in the Start Search box (or Run box in Windows XP). Choose a date prior to when you installed the defective program (Choose a different restore point radio button). Exit System Restore and restart the computer. Your computer should then be operating normally.
