Which Team Has Won The Premiership The Most Times?

Manchester United have been champions eight times (in 1993, 94, 96, 97, 99, 2000 and 01). They won the first ever Premiership title in 1993 and have been the most successful club in the competition since.
Blackburn Rovers were the only side to interrupt Manchester United's domination in the nineties with a surprise title win in 1995.
Arsenal have won the competition three times (in 1998, 2002, 2004) and looked set to challenge Manchester United's record until a 'new' Chelsea emerged.
Chelsea were taken over by a Russion billionaire ( Roman Abramovich) in 2003. The London side have since won the title twice (in 2005 and 2006), and look set to continue that run with plenty more titles in the next few years.

Sorry mate, but Liverpool have never ever won the premiership - they have won the old first division 1 (18 times), but they have never won the premiership title. Only Manchester United (10 Times), Arsenal (3 Times), Chelsea (3 Times) & Blackburn Rovers (Once) - I think this is right (not sure about Chelsea though - might be twice). But Liverpool has never won it !! - Check your facts first before you claim to have won something you have not !!!
