What Type Of Extra Information Should We Provide On Our Company Web Site?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Apart from the usual core pages, the type of extra pages that companies should provide on their sites are ones that add additional informational value for the web site visitor.

Extra content pages should be relevant and support and expand on the core pages. Anything you do provide should be in context and go some way to explain a bit more about your products and services and how they can be used by the end user, be it another business or a consumer.

Often times, it is the extra content on these pages that help to distinguish your site from others, particularly where search engine robots are concerned. These like fresh content that is contextual and relevant to the overall theme of your site.

For example, if yours is a product site a good way to complement your existing pages and encourage extra traffic is to provide visitors with product reviews and 'how to' pages. Say you sell sausages online, you should give visitors cooking instructions and recipe ideas to try out.
