How Come In Society The Worst Thing That You Can Be Is Fat?

Fat and obesity is an image problem mostly in the western countries, in particular US and western Europe. Centuries ago (and still in some countries) a fat woman (especially) and man were seen as a sign of wealth/affluence (that meant they had more than enough to eat, compared to most people at the time). The same was true for centuries around the world when people worried more about starvation rather than being fat. Blame it on Madison Ave. Advertising  honchos showing what they think people aspire to be...really! Like starving-looking models! That is definitely not healthy either. Medically speaking, the main concern about fat/obesity has to do with the serious damage it can do to your health in the long run, even if you are comfortable in your fat skin.

That isn't the worst thing by far, there are people out there that hurt, kill, rape, and molest and kill children. Being obese isn't the worst thing that I have seen.
