Situated in the heart of the Blackmore vale, Gillingham is one of the fastest growing towns in England and is easily accessible by both road and rail.

The town centre itself is full of small shops selling both local arable produce and also some of the larger high street chains. Close by is the hill top town of Shaftesbury and barely half an hour's drive away, in the neighbouring county of WIltshire, the famous tourist trap of Longleat can be found.

Famous for it's lions, Longleat is also home to one of the best safari parks in Europe, and is home to a whole host of animals from all over the world from Rhinos to Wolves.

Along side the safari park, Longleat also boasts other attractions including one of the largest mazes in the world, the famous old house and for anglers, the fishing out of the lakes is also excellent.
