How Do I Recover Ram?
I had to reinstall windows so all my setting got set to default ... I had added more ram to the pc before that ... Now it only reads 384mb ram and 16mb display memory ... I don't remember what type it was or how much more was added. Someone else did it for me and they are in Iraq at the moment so can't contact them for info ... And i can't play any of my games .... Please help ... What do i do?

If you take out the memory and see black spots on the connector, you can use a pencil eraser to clean them.
If anything, just popping out the RAM and putting it back in could resolve your issue.
The 16 MB display memory, although small, sounds like it could be correct, unless there was a new video card installed recently.
If you still have trouble with the amount of RAM that is being recognized, it could be that you have a defective stick of RAM. At that point, you will probably want to take it in to your local computer store or Geek Squad location for further help.

You need to open your computer casing there are slots for RAM the color of ram is greenish type. Now with little force you unplugged them wash them with soft cloth and clean those slots with some soft cloth or blower. And then plugged those ram in the mother board and start your computer. This time it show the full memory of rams if they are in right condition.

Rubbing the memory with a soft cloth is the last thing you want to do. The static electricity built up could at least damage the RAM if not the motherboard too and completely ruin your computer.
