What Is The Disadvantage Of Caciquism?

Caciquism is a political system in which the class of local chiefs act as political leaders. These chiefs or bosses are known as caciques. Caciquism is actually practiced in Latin America and in Spanish politics. The greatest disadvantage of this system is that there is no democracy and the laborers and poor people have no protection and they are not treated. They are also not given the wages they deserve. The rich influential leaders have advantage over the poor and the rich can have any law passed in their favor in the legislature.
