Hummer is a brand of their Sports Utility vehicle owned by General Motors. The Hummers are the largest selling SUVs in the market. Although the Hummers are very famous and sell a lot, they are the worst SUVs when it comes to Fuel Consumption. Their efficiency is around a few miles per gallon. Hummers are based on High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, which are based on the military vehicle called the Humvee.

The assembly at that time was carried on in Mishawaka in Indiana. The Hummer that is available for the civilians was released by General Motors in the beginning of the year 1991.
