Which One Should I Learn, Bass Or Acoustic Guitar?

I like acoustic. It is more portable and there is no need for an amp. There is just something about unplugged music.

I'd go for acoustic. Its more impressive if you can just break out the old' guitar.

I like the bass better, but i think an acoustic would be best because it's more portable so you can practice anywhere. Another option would be to get an acoustic bass, but the downside there is i think they're more expensive than an acoustic guitar. I'm learning bass now and for practicing anywhere i built a couple cigar box guitars one of which i strung with bass strings. That way i have what i want to practice on and can take it anywhere ;)

Definately acoustic. When you learn acoustic guitar you will gain an understanding of bass guitars and be able to play bass with very little work. It doesn't work the other way around.
