    The products are a salt and usually water, an example would be NaOH + HCl ----> NaCl +H2O, NaCl is the salt in this case common table salt and water.

      Any acid plus a base will give u salt plus water.
      Acid plus metal will give u salt plus hydrogen
      acid plus carbonate will give u salt plus carbon dioxide plus water
