Can I Take A Portable Dvd Player In My Hand Luggage?

Answer Question

Yes you can take electronic equipment on board an aircraft now. They are only worried about liquids, gels, creams, aerosols and lotions. They must each be in a 3.4 OZ or less container and fit in one quart size clear ziplocked bag per passenger. Check out TSA.GOV for official rules.

Yes.  You can take most types of electronics apart from a portable TV and a switched on mobile. (Take you mobile if you want but it has gotta be switched off.) A dvd player doesn't send out signals which could disturb the aircraft but a portable tv does.  This is the same with mobiles so you must turn it off.
You must remember not ot take liquids over 100ml onto the aircraft and any you do take must be displayed in a plastic bag ( transparent) These can be purchased at the airport.
      Hope this helps
