There are an extreme number of differences between W98 and XP

XP is an advanced version of W98 with more security features, the graphics or the look and feel in other words of Windows  XP is very much enhanced compared to that of 98.
In XP you can have a thumbnail view of your files and folders which cannot be done in 98. This is but to mention a few of the differences !
