In Spite Of Daily Cleaning Of Teeth, Dog Has Bad Breath,What Should I Do?

I clean my dog's teeth and also brush daily. They look good. But if not done daily her breath is almost like stool smell no worms noticed. Active an alert with normal energy. She is 4 years old mixed breed. She is on Science Diet and holistic dry food. Would appreciate your help. Thanks

One thing I do for my dog is give her an apple. She loves apples. I gave her quartered apples (half an apple). It keeps her breath fresh.

Be careful of not hurting your dogs gums by brushing or cleaning too much.
So breeds of dogs are known for bad breath, other's not.It is genetic in many cases.

Dog mouth spray sounds like a good idea, but there are dog foods that also contain things to prevent tartare build up etc.

About science diet: I have noticed when I was using science diet with my dogs, their stools had a much stronger scent - their breath as well.. Try switching to another food (a good food like science diet) and see if it makes a difference perhaps.

Google "dog mouth spray" don't use the dog toothpaste its messy and smelly. Do you have the dogs teeth scraped? Vets do that, but it's expensive and they have to put the dog put under, my mom is a groomer and does it not very many do and she does it for much less and doesn't have to put them under she does an amazing job i think better than the vets... Tarter on the teeth that haven't been scraped smells really really bad and they could loose there teeth if not taken care of. I hope i helped

Thanks for your time I do scrape my dogs teeth and they are clean and not red gums or anything. She eats too fast and I think it is the digestion of food.
Not sure but Brushing and cleaning with a pro. Tool to keep them clean will help.
      Thanks again..
