How Was The Fashion In Early 80's?

The fashion in the early 80's was all about flamboyance and experimentation.
For the women the hair was with golden blonde or multicolored with stick on bangs or side pony tails complemented with light pink lipstick, long eyelashes with stark mascara and blue eye shadow. The clothes that were popular were the mini skirts in denim and spandex with thick belts. They were worn with off shoulder shirts or crop tops that were generally coupled with a sweater at the waist and matching socks.   

For the men, it was experimentation with styles such as the Mohawk, long and layered, frizzy looking with bangs or just plain curly and piercing and ray bans gaining popularity. The kind of clothes that were popular were the stone washed jeans or the tight leather pants as well as spandex which were generally worn with pastel shades of shirts or sleeveless shirts and were generally topped off with denim or leather jackets. Psychedelic colors and patterns were very popular at the time.
