What Is Apple TV?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Apple TV is a new system from Apple Ltd (formerly Apple Computer Ltd) of San Francisco, which aims at synching your ITunes with your television set.

It works equally on Mac and PC.  Say you've downloaded a movie onto your ITunes, well known you can wireless stream it to your television.

Apple TV makes its connection through the HDMI port or AV ports. It has an already built in, top of the range WIFI capability to syncs your iTunes library to ANY Mac or PC in the house. It can also wireless update your ITunes library with your Apple TV any time.

One of the major drawbacks for those of us using this in the UK is the ridiculous situation where we cannot download any video files.  TV shows and movies are available for download in the USA, but not in the UK.  For this reason, I could not see myself buying an Apple TV unit until this is resolved.  Once it is resolve, wow, you've got your Apple on your TV!
