What Is The Activation Key For Norton Antivirus, 2006?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The activation key is essentially a password that allows you to use a copied version of Norton Antivirus software without having purchased a real copy.  This usually results in the company increasing the prices of their software to match the lowering of sales by software piracy.

The key is often on your disk or on a piece of paper with the boxed pack in the real thing. In your copied version, there will not be one.  You could just get a friend to tell you their activation disk, but the problem is that when you log on to the internet to activate, you will find that it has already been registered.  You can get around this by disconnected your computer from the internet and trying to activate the software already.  Buying a real copy is the only way to ensure continued protection as the software updates and virus definition updates will only come to registered users.
