How Many Wow Ratings Does It Take?
Well, I noticed that someone got a bad rating on an answer concerning a question about when were the first witch hunts. I see that the blurter has received a total of six More ratings. I know for sure that two of them were Wows, and I see that the rating is now up to Good, after the Six More ratings. Was wondering if a bad rating can ever be off-set so that the answer could actually receive the Wow it deserved in the first place.

Really like your answer Logic. No time off for Steve as of yet. One of the other managers was on vacation this week and he had to go over to the neighboring town and cover for him.
I might say that bad rating can be off-set on the discretion of blurtit team as an easy method(If they agree) but When it comes to off-setting by blurters, they can give WOW ratings enough to take the rank of that response to WOW. E.g., If an answer receives one BAD & 1 WOW rating then that response's scale will be showing "average" word &I think it takes 2-3 more WOW's, in addition to first one, might be enough to completely take off that "BAD" word completely.

Hi Omer, Thank you for your answer. I have added to the question explanation. If you don't mind, would you take another look?
Hmmm! This one makes you think.:) i have not a clue how to overcome a bad rating to receive a wow rating. Hmmm! I would say one more wow than a meowww(cat fight/jealousy mark)/bad rating... But i have no idea. As you can see by my fair or good rating i have overall. So don't ask me..lolrotf

did tamarind find out how many clicks/stars/licks it takes to get to the center of a wow/tootsie pop? sorry my brains in over drive today.
tam found out that it takes a lot of wows to off-set a bad rating on nascars' answer on witch hunts. BTW, You are very funny today and I still don't know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop.
i think my sugar buzz has just about ran out i am going to take a nap now. i will come back later and find out what other people think is the right answer for getting to the center of a tootsie pop. later.
I've reversed 'em before, when they are simply pointers to wikipedia rather than a real answer... BTW if you answer my questions, I increase your ratings every time I peek at the question, whether I like your answer or not.

Sounds like you have a good system worked out there bickle. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
Tammy, this is difficult to determine. You must put into account the ratings that you have recieved.(this would be impossible) It also depends on how many "wow" ratings you recieved verses the "good" or below ratings. If you have an excellent rating and persistantly acquire "wow" ratings then it is only a matter of "wow's" until you are wow.

I edited my explanation. Would you take another read of it please? Thank you for your answer.
Think of it as a weight scale. A four star rating canl balance a two star rating. A five star
rating can balance off a two star rating. If my theory is wrong then I can only assume than if you get a two star rating, it will take three wow's to off set that poor rating. a four star rating, one wow. Understand my logic?

Yes, I see what you are saying and we are still up in the air on this one though, because we know that 3 of the other 6 ratings were Wows. Maybe the other raters of the question will come forth and supply us with much needed information.
So that is a total of three wows' that we know of and three other ratings besides the one Bad rating. Although we are not sure of the other three ratings unless the other three raters come forward. If They Do, Then we may be able to get to the bottom, or the top, of this questions answer.
I think
It does not have any definite number but i think it depends on your average rating
I.E. If you received 10 ratings and average ratings gets you 4 stars you'll be given the number for 4 stars!!
Hope it helps!!!

Well, that's a really good answer. So far we have determined that she got a total of 7 ratings. One bad, four Wows and two unknown as of yet. Now, if we could just find out who gave her the other two and what they were. She is up to a good rating from all this. Thinking maybe we could do a little experiment. I could be the fall guy. What do you think? Maybe we could organize a setup answer and then get one bad and every one else to give wows until we reach a wow status.
This reminds me of the 'ol saying" he who dies with the most toys wins".....so "he who dies with the most points wins" ....what are we winning?? to go to blurtit heaven?? These point-taker trolls are getting way too much attention. There's got to be a way blurtit can find out who they are and blast them out for good.
Dear, it seems to me that when I get 10 wow's, it's great, but when I get one poor or bad, I lose all the ground that I made!!! I have to say, that when you get one poor, you shouldn't lose as much status as you do. I work my fanny off all the time to help people, and just because one person isn't happy with what I said, I lose the status I had which might have been great to someone else.
I think that they, meaning the Blurtit Gods, should be a little less severe with the ratings for wow's and poor's! It should take 3 or 4 poor's to make me lose 1/2 a star at least. Don't you think? Or did I just confuse ya?

I totally agree with you. You have given the answer I've been looking for all day, Tigger! This is exactly why I posted the question. Hoping to get some attention from someone who is in good standing with the team. Maybe they could help get the rating system changed for the better. It just doesn't seem fair.
Dear, I will see what I can do, but I can't promise anything. I think of the team as my friends, and I hate to complain to them, I sometimes think they have enough to work on, but I will see what I can do. Thanks for making me say what I said here. I didn't know that I was a little upset with it. ♥u so much!!!!! You are so wonderful!!!
I have just now seen this response from you Tigger. You are a champ and thank you for helping me with this problem. You are an amazing human being!
