Yes, if you stick to it. But remember the weight loss only stays off whilst your doing the diet. REMEMBER THAT. I lost 1 and a half stone on the induction but i did it very basic. All the meat, eggs, and fish i wanted along with things such as full fat mayo. Full fat cream in de-caff coffee (not allowed caffeine) I always thought of it as foods with the highest fat content had lowest carbs. Everything has to be full fat no carbs. Use grilling and things like George Foremans instead of getting un - healthy. After the induction you are allowed things such as bits of salad but cant remember much more. If your going to come off it bring carbs back in VERY SLOWLY. I have never been able to so the weight has come straight back and added even more to my weight because when you go on such a restricting diet your body feels 'without', so the minute you put carbs back in your body it keeps hold of them incase you do this again. Its the same if you starve yourself for two days then eat loads on the third. Them third days calories will work off very very slowly because your body wants something to keep hold of incase you go back into starvation. Hope this helps a bit and remember if your going to do it, do it right cos one cheat and your body keeps that cheat and doesnt let go. Good luck with your decision x
